What’s Changing from 1 July 2025?

1. Updated Pricing

From 1 July, the hourly rate for dietitian services will decrease slightly:
From: $193.99 → To: $188.99

2. Travel Time Billing (Labour Costs)

The NDIS has reduced the allowable travel time charge by 50%.
New travel labour rate: $94.50/hour

What This Means for Participants

  • Despite updates to pricing and travel rules, NDIS participants can continue accessing essential dietetic care under Capacity Building supports.
  • Pending where you live, providers may offer options to complete your visits in person (at home), online via telehealth or a hybrid of the two options, to support best use of your funding.
